Fees

East West Educational Foundation is a registered Society whose books are audited annually. Our aim is to run the language program on a no profit-no loss basis. Fees paid by the students are used for paying teachers’ salaries, maintaining our institute, and miscellaneous related expenses. We require Rs. 4,500 at the time of enrollment, half the semester’s payment (minus Rs. 4,500) during the first month of class with the balance being due by mid-semester. Fees are non-refundable. Semester Package

A total of 130 hours of instruction time are provided in this package over the 20 week course of the semester with the following breakdown:

90 Hours Grammar Class from Introductory Hindi Course (Landour Language School) (4.5 hours of class per week: 3 classes per week of 1.5 hours each)

40 hours Individual tuition (2 hours per week)

This same number of hours without the package deal would be considerably more expensive.

The semester package rate for couples requires the couple to share their individual tuition time. This offers additional savings.

At the time of enrollment, Rs. 4,500 is due in order to guarantee your place in our program and reserve your requested schedule. Other fees are due in two installments:

Half of the fees (minus the Rs. 4,500) will be due within one month of enrollment.
The second half will be due by mid-semester.

Bills paid late will be assessed a late fee of Rs.500. An additional delinquent fine of Rs.500 will be added on at the first day of each month to bills that are unpaid. No refunds can be given of any fees except in extenuating circumstances with the permission of the Director. The exception is with the initial Rs. 4,500 payable at enrollment. If a student finds his assigned private tuition schedule unacceptable, he may receive a refund of Rs. 3,000. Rs. 1,500 is non-refundable. Students who want to avail this refund should not start their private tuition. They need to let the Director know their assigned private tuition schedule is unacceptable within two weeks of receiving it.
